PT. Bunga Harapan is a general trading company founded in 1976 by Mr. Aming Samsi as chairman, and Mr. Soedjiono as President Director. Mr. Soedjiono brought 26 years of experience at PT. Pertamina, most recently as a Financial Director — an insider's understanding of exactly the client that would go on to become one of our most important relationships.

For more than 50 years, we have served Indonesian industry across oil & gas, aromatic, fertilizer, petrochemical, car manufacturing, plastics, and energy.

In 1976, PT. Bunga Harapan became the exclusive Indonesian agent for Shin Nippon Machinery Co., Ltd. in the oil & gas and petrochemical industry. Together, we supply API 610-certified process pumps and steam turbines — as both generator and mechanical drive units. Beyond the machinery itself, we make sure our clients get a continuous supply of genuine SNM parts, so every unit keeps running at its intended performance.

As of 2012, we expanded our focus into the power and energy sector. SNM's steam turbines are internationally recognized in the medium-size electricity generation range (5MW–100MW), and we see strong potential in this space as more Indonesian businesses look to generate their own power or sell into PLN. PT. Bekasi Power is one of our power projects, running an SNM steam turbine generator in tandem with a General Electric gas turbine generator.
